Walt Disney World has shared an early look at dining planned for Monstropolis, the upcoming Monsters, Inc.-themed land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which Disney says will open next year.

Two restaurants are planned for the land. Harryhausen’s, modeled after the restaurant in the film, will serve Japanese-inspired dishes including ramen bowls. Disney said the menu will pair elements such as tonkotsu broth and ramen noodles with monster-themed details, including eyeball-shaped fishcakes and green eggs. An audio-animatronic octopus chef is also planned for the center of the restaurant.

Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza, a quick-service location inspired by Monsters University, will serve pizza. The culinary team said it drew on the familiar feel of neighborhood pizza shops while adding unexpected touches designed for Monstropolis.

The restaurant will also introduce Blort, a fictional drink from the Monsters, Inc. world, as a purple frozen beverage topped with Scream Apple Foam. Disney’s food-and-beverage team described the overall approach as taking familiar dishes and giving them brighter, bolder monster-inspired twists.
