Disney Cruise Line has named its next Wish-class ship Disney Believe, with service expected to begin in late 2027.
The cruise line announced the ship’s name and design theme at The Walt Disney Company’s 2026 annual shareholders meeting. Disney Believe will be the fourth vessel in the Wish class, following Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny.
Its theme will focus on promise and possibilities, drawing from Disney characters who believe in themselves and their dreams. Disney Cruise Line said spaces aboard the ship will be inspired by Encanto, Frozen, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Moana and The Little Mermaid.
Construction is underway at Meyer Werft’s shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. The ship’s steel cutting ceremony took place in August 2025, followed by its keel laying in September 2026.

Disney Believe is part of Disney Cruise Line’s wider fleet expansion, which the company expects will bring its fleet to 13 ships by 2031. The expansion also includes Disney Adventure, which began its maiden voyage from Singapore on March 10, 2026, as well as a new ship class planned for 2029.
