Universal CityWalk will host a one-day Wicked fan event on Oct. 24, with meet-and-greets, movie costumes and props, music, trivia and new merchandise planned.
Called Oztacular Spectacular, the event is scheduled from noon to 7 p.m. at Universal Orlando’s CityWalk. Glinda and Elphaba are set to appear, while stained-glass-themed photo displays and a yellow brick dance floor will give visitors additional places to take part in the celebration.
A DJ will play songs from the Wicked movies, and trivia participants can enter for giveaways. The Universal Legacy Store will carry new Wicked merchandise during the event.
Meanwhile, Universal’s The Traitors: New Blood bar experience is already open at Great Movie Escape in CityWalk. The Library, on the first floor, and The Roundtable, upstairs, have been redesigned around the NBC series.

According to Universal, the bars feature show-inspired set pieces, props and costumes worn by host Alan Cumming. Their themed drink menus include The Raven, A Murder in Plain Sight, The Faithful and The Traitor, plus nonalcoholic options: The Shield in The Library and The Ally in The Roundtable.
The bars are open Wednesday through Sunday from 3 to 11 p.m., and visitors do not need an escape room ticket to enter the bar areas. A separate ticket is still required to play one of the escape rooms. Universal said the The Traitors takeover will remain in place during the show’s current season.
