Walt Disney World joined the celebration after UCF Football defeated No. 2 BYU 39–31 in double overtime on Oct. 24 at Orlando’s Acrisure Bounce House.
The win was the highest-ranked victory in UCF program history, based on the opponent’s national ranking at the time of the game. BYU entered the matchup ranked No. 2.
Disney’s official X account congratulated the Knights with a photo of three UCF football helmets displayed in front of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom. The white and black helmets flanked a gold helmet carrying the Walt Disney World logo near its rear edge.
The post follows a helmet sponsorship agreement announced by Walt Disney World and UCF in September. Under the deal, the Disney logo was added to the rear bumper of the Knights’ white, black and gold helmets beginning with the Sept. 26 game against TCU.
