Walt Disney World says more information about The Magic of New Year’s Eve at California Grill will be available Nov. 11, 2026. The event is set to return to California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, overlooking Magic Kingdom.
Disney has not yet announced 2026 pricing or confirmed when reservations will open. Last year’s event had three price points: $229 per person on Dec. 30, $299 for an earlier Dec. 31 seating and $349 for the later New Year’s Eve seating. At the highest listed rate, admission for four people came to $1,396 before additional applicable charges.
Last year’s celebration included a four-course meal with items such as Wagyu beef and lobster, live entertainment, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse appearances, a dedicated outdoor fireworks-viewing area and a complimentary champagne toast for eligible adults. Disney has not confirmed whether those elements will return for the upcoming event.
California Grill is located near the top of Disney’s Contemporary Resort, offering views toward Magic Kingdom. The ticketed restaurant event is an alternative to viewing fireworks from within the park, where New Year’s Eve crowds can be especially heavy around Main Street, U.S.A., and Cinderella Castle.
Planning Your Trip
Undercover Tourist is an authorized seller of Walt Disney World tickets, often at a discount off gate price.
Visitors who plan to watch fireworks from Magic Kingdom’s regular viewing areas do not need to buy the California Grill experience, though they need valid park admission. Guests considering a New Year’s Eve visit can review Walt Disney World ticket options separately from the restaurant event.
