Jacksonville’s Halloween weekend calendar includes family activities, live music, sports and seasonal events from Wednesday, Oct. 28, through Sunday, Nov. 1.
For Halloween day, Jax Parks is scheduled to host Treats at the Plaza from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Riverfront Plaza. Other Saturday options include Beaches Green Market at Penman Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Riverside Arts Market Arf Barket from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. under the Fuller Warren Bridge; Sporting JAX vs. Brooklyn FC at 2 p.m. at Hodges Stadium; and the Jacksonville Icemen vs. Atlanta Gladiators at 3 p.m. at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena.
The Jacksonville Zoo and Botanical Gardens’ Spooktacular is set for two sessions, 6 to 7:30 p.m. and 7:30 to 9 p.m., on Oct. 29, 30 and 31. Seasonal attractions also include the 13th Floor haunted house, Conner’s A-Maize-Ing Acres in Hilliard on Fridays from 5 to 9 p.m., Sykes Family Farms through Nov. 1, and Amazing Grace Family Farms in Green Cove Springs on Fridays and Saturdays through November.
Concerts and performances on the schedule include Ghostbusters in Concert at the Florida Theatre on Oct. 28; Sonic Live in Concert and The Carpenters Songbook on Oct. 29; and CeCe Winans, the Jacksonville Symphony’s Phantom of the Opera 1925 screening with organ, and The Illharmonic Orchestra on Oct. 30.
On Sunday, the Jacksonville Jaguars are scheduled to return to EverBank Stadium for a 1 p.m. game against the Indianapolis Colts, their first home game in more than a month, according to WOKV. The game is also listed to air on CBS 47.
