Guests visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2026, will need to plan for an early exit. The park is scheduled to close to regular visitors at 5 p.m., four hours earlier than its usual 9 p.m. closing time.

The shortened day is connected to the Gartner IT Symposium/Xpo 2026, scheduled for Oct. 19 through 22 at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin. Hollywood Studios is expected to host a private evening event for conference attendees from 7 to 11 p.m.

Morning access is not changing: Early Theme Park Entry begins at 8:30 a.m., followed by the park’s regular 9 a.m. opening. The earlier closing means visitors will miss the usual evening window for attractions and nighttime entertainment.

Guests hoping to fit in major attractions such as Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror may want to prioritize them earlier in the day. Those with park-hopping plans could visit another Walt Disney World park after 5 p.m., though operating hours should be checked before heading over.

Other October schedule adjustments are also planned across Walt Disney World. Magic Kingdom will close at 6 p.m. for day guests on select nights, including Oct. 22, 23 and 25, for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. EPCOT is scheduled to open at 10 a.m. on Oct. 23 and 25 during the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend.

Visitors planning Walt Disney World tickets for those dates should review the resort’s operating calendar as they map out their park days.
