Guests at Disney’s Riviera Resort may encounter strobe lights and loud ringing tones during scheduled fire alarm testing from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 12.

According to a resort notice reported by Disney Fanatic, guests may remain inside the building during the testing. The notice does not describe the work as an evacuation or a closure.

The resort advises guests who are sensitive to noise to consider making other plans during the testing window. The notice does not specify how frequently alarms may sound, how long they may last, or whether individual dining areas and transportation services will be affected.
