Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom has added a Halloween-themed version of its chocolate twist pastry: the Mummy Twist, priced at $6.79.
The pastry is a buttery, flaky croissant twist filled with dark chocolate chips and finished with icing to resemble a mummy. Disney Food Blog reported that the chocolate chips range from crunchy to melted, and described the treat as sweet but relatively balanced in richness.
Guests can find the Mummy Twist at Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery, Isle of Java and Tamu Tamu Refreshments. It was sold out at Tamu Tamu when Disney Food Blog checked, while Kusafiri had it available.

The snack joins other themed takes on the chocolate twist sold at Disney World. At Magic Kingdom, Cheshire Café serves the Cheshire Cat Tail, a similar pastry with pink and purple frosting. Animal Kingdom previously sold a Tiger Tail Chocolate Twist, which arrived in 2019 and was discontinued in 2025, according to Disney Food Blog.
