The tram is discontinued, so plan for a 1,000-foot or half-mile walk from Parking Lot #1 to Lovers Key’s Gulf beach.
Rough surf, rip currents, coastal flooding and erosion are forecast to continue along Florida’s Atlantic beaches through the weekend.
Warnings cover parts of northeast and southeast Florida, where surf could reach 14 feet in Palm Beach County.
