THE PLAYERS Championship returns to TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach from Tuesday, March 9, through Sunday, March 14, 2027. The tournament rounds run Thursday, March 11, through Sunday, March 14, but the fan week begins with Military Appreciation Day on Tuesday and a professional practice day on Wednesday. If you are building a Northeast Florida golf getaway around the tournament, the biggest planning point is simple: your admission ticket and your parking are two separate purchases.

What a Stadium Pass includes

The standard ticket is the Stadium Pass, a mobile general-admission ticket that gets you onto the tournament grounds and into the public fan areas. It is the right choice for most visitors who want the freedom to walk the Stadium Course, follow groups for a few holes, spend time around the famous par-3 17th and sample the public viewing areas rather than stay in one hospitality venue.

A Stadium Pass does not mean a reserved grandstand seat, private suite access or entry to ticketed hospitality spaces such as the Intracoastal Club. Those experiences require their own ticket. Stadium Passes are sold by day, and pricing is dynamic, meaning the price can rise as inventory and demand change. For the best selection, especially for Friday through Sunday, buy early through the championship’s official ticket channels. The 2026 event sold out primary-channel tickets for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, so waiting for a last-minute weekend deal is not the relaxed strategy it may seem.

There is a four-ticket-per-day limit per account. Families should also note the useful youth policy: up to two children age 15 or younger may attend free with each ticketed adult throughout the week. Children age 6 and older still need a ticket to enter hospitality venues.

Parking: buy it separately, and buy the correct day

A Stadium Pass does not include parking. Every vehicle needs its own digital parking pass for every day it visits, from Tuesday through Sunday, and on-site parking sales are not offered. In other words, a family attending Friday and Saturday needs two separate daily parking passes, not one weekend pass.

For 2027, general parking has been listed at $20 per day plus tax and fees on Tuesday and Wednesday, and $50 per day plus tax and fees Thursday through Sunday. Like admission, parking is dynamically priced and can sell out, so confirm the current price and availability when you purchase. The official parking listing has also identified the general-parking address as 5360 Palm Valley Road, Ponte Vedra Beach; follow your digital pass and event signage rather than relying only on a saved map pin.

Parking inventory may be released or adjusted separately from admission inventory, so do not assume that having tournament tickets means you are set to drive. If your preferred day is Friday or Saturday, securing transportation early is especially worthwhile.

Rideshare, bikes and golf carts

Uber is the event’s rideshare partner, and the official advice is to enter “The Players Championship” as your destination, then follow event signs to the designated access area. During the busiest exit window, skip the temptation to call your ride from the nearest curb: walk all the way to the signed pickup zone first, then request or connect with your driver. The designated rideshare location has historically been at the Couples Entry off ATP Boulevard, near the 15th hole, but check current event instructions before leaving your hotel because traffic patterns can change.

Staying nearby? Complimentary bicycle and golf-cart parking is available inside TPC Sawgrass near the PGA TOUR Boulevard entrance by the Sawgrass Marriott. Bring your own bike lock. This can be a particularly smart option for guests in Ponte Vedra Beach who would rather avoid post-round vehicle queues. A compact portable charger is useful for keeping mobile tickets, maps and rideshare available through a long day, while a packable rain poncho takes up almost no room when the forecast looks unsettled.

Which day is best?

  • Tuesday, March 9: Best for military families and visitors interested in Military Appreciation Day. Details of the 2027 ceremony and concert are still to be announced, so check the current schedule before committing.
  • Wednesday, March 10: Best for a lower-pressure first visit, practice-round viewing and seeing players work around the course. It is a fine pick for families and golf fans who care more about access and atmosphere than tournament stakes.
  • Thursday, March 11: The sweet spot for many visitors. Competition is underway, every player is still in the field, and the weekend crush has not fully arrived.
  • Friday, March 12: Great for full tournament energy and the drama of the cut, but plan early because demand is strong.
  • Saturday, March 13: Choose it for the liveliest scene, not the easiest logistics. It is typically the toughest ticket and parking day.
  • Sunday, March 14: Best for a potential finish and trophy presentation. Come prepared for the largest late-day crowds around the leaders and No. 18.

Practical takeaway: For the best balance of access, competition and ease, choose Thursday; for the party-like peak, choose Saturday and lock in both your Stadium Pass and separate transportation plan as soon as you can.
