The Hogwarts Express at Universal Orlando Resort is scheduled to close for refurbishment beginning Nov. 4, 2026.
The train, including both stations, normally provides transportation between The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley in Universal Orlando’s two parks. During the closure, guests moving between the parks will need to walk instead.
Universal has not announced a reopening date or estimated timeline for the Hogwarts Express refurbishment.
Planning Your Trip
Undercover Tourist is an authorized seller of Universal Orlando tickets, often at a discount off gate price.
Po Live! in DreamWorks Land is also closed for refurbishment. That attraction has been unavailable since Oct. 3, and Universal has not provided a reopening timeframe for it either.
