Walt Disney World and the Orlando Magic have extended their Champion of the Community sponsorship, continuing a relationship that began in 2010.
Under the agreement, Disney branding will remain on the Magic’s uniforms. The organizations said the partnership will continue to center on their shared commitment to Central Florida.
The announcement also marked the debut of a redesigned Walt Disney World Atrium at Kia Center in downtown Orlando. The updated space includes new artwork and projection technology designed to change throughout Magic games and other events held at the arena.
“The Magic are thrilled to extend our longstanding relationship with Walt Disney World,” Magic President of Business Operations Charlie Freeman said in a statement, calling it a 16-year relationship that puts the community at the heart of the organizations’ work.

Walt Disney World President Joe Schott said the reimagined atrium creates “a vibrant new welcome for fans” that feels distinctly Orlando.
The Magic began play in 1989 after the NBA awarded Orlando an expansion franchise in 1987. The team’s name, selected in 1986, was an early nod to Walt Disney World and the Magic Kingdom.
