The Museum of Science & History has raised more than $100 million toward a planned new museum on Jacksonville’s Downtown Northbank, according to museum officials.

The campaign’s $100 million milestone represents two-thirds of the $150 million total being sought. MOSH said it will continue raising the remaining $50 million while construction moves forward, with groundbreaking expected in early 2027.

Museum officials called the campaign the largest cultural capital campaign in Jacksonville history. The planned facility is intended for the Northbank area of downtown Jacksonville.

In a news release, MOSH board chair and campaign co-chair Jill Davis said the fundraising milestone reflects support from business leaders, philanthropic partners and families backing the project.
