Hollywood Studios’ former Muppets Courtyard has another visible sign of its transition to Monstropolis: the restroom once known as Gonzo’s Royal Flush now has a brick exterior and a new painted message, “Try Our Cans.”

The exterior change was revealed after construction scaffolding came down around the building. The new phrase continues the location’s bathroom-humor tradition, with “cans” serving as a reference to toilets, but replaces the Muppets-themed name introduced in late 2016.

The change comes after the permanent closure of Muppet*Vision 3D, which opened at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on May 16, 1991. The attraction welcomed its final guests on June 7, 2025, before closing the following day as Disney prepared the area for a Monsters, Inc.-inspired land.

Disney has said Monstropolis will open in phases in 2027, meaning parts of the new area could begin welcoming guests while work continues elsewhere. For now, the renamed restroom is among the early exterior details visible in the redevelopment of the former Muppets space.
