The Walt Disney World Railroad reopened at Magic Kingdom on Oct. 29, one day before operating hours had appeared on the park calendar.

The attraction had closed in late September for a multi-week refurbishment. Disney had said it would reopen sometime in November, while the calendar later showed service beginning Oct. 30. Work during the closure focused on the track rather than the railroad’s engines.

Visitors should note that the Main Street, U.S.A. station and Fantasyland station remain closed, according to the Walt Disney World website. The railroad is continuing to operate in shuttle mode during construction of Piston Peak National Park and Disney Villains Land.
