Walt Disney World has expanded its Airport Luggage Transfer at Disney pilot to three additional hotels: Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, including Gran Destino Tower; Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter; and Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside.

The additions mean all four Disney World Moderate Resorts now participate, alongside the five Value Resorts: Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, All-Star Music Resort, All-Star Sports Resort, Art of Animation Resort and Pop Century Resort. Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort was already included.

Operated by BagCheck, the service is available for eligible guests on domestic American Airlines, JetBlue, Southwest Airlines and United Airlines flights. On arrival at Orlando International Airport, registered guests can bypass baggage claim and have checked luggage delivered to their resort. Disney says to allow up to four hours after landing; bags can be collected from Luggage Assistance or Bell Services, or guests may request room delivery. Gratuities for room delivery are not included.

Guests must register from 30 days to 24 hours before their arriving flight using their Disney Resort reservation confirmation and airline flight confirmation. Those who enroll more than seven days ahead receive luggage tags by mail. Travelers registering later can still use the service and track bags through their confirmation email.

The program also allows departing guests to check luggage at their participating resort between 24 hours and four hours before their flight, after checking in online. They must bring a government-issued photo ID and boarding pass, and airline baggage fees still apply. The bags are collected at baggage claim at the traveler’s final destination.

International flights are not eligible. Disney advises travelers to keep medications, electronics, important documents and perishable items in carry-on luggage. Guests arriving after 11 p.m. may pick up bags themselves at MCO or wait up to four hours for delivery. The free service remains a pilot and may be changed or ended without notice.

The luggage transfer does not provide transportation between MCO and Walt Disney World, unlike the former Disney’s Magical Express service, which ended in early 2022. Guests still need to arrange their own airport ride while planning Walt Disney World tickets and their resort stay.
