A recent performance of Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular at Magic Kingdom continued after the giant Jack Skellington puppet lost part of its left arm during the show’s introduction.

The nighttime production is part of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and combines fireworks, projections, music and Disney characters. Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King from The Nightmare Before Christmas, appears in the show as a large puppet operated by Disney’s entertainment team.

Video shared by DisneyWorldTom showed a section of the puppet’s arm detaching and falling to the ground. The performers continued the presentation, and the fireworks proceeded as planned.

Jack normally returns in physical-puppet form for the finale. But during this performance, guests instead saw an alternate effect: the character’s shadow displayed on Cinderella Castle, according to WDW News Today as cited by Disney Fanatic.
