Construction at the monorail station at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is nearing completion, according to an October 26 update from WDW News Today.
Most of the steel beams that had been visible on the front facade in an earlier update are now covered. A small portion of plywood remains visible.
Work is still underway on the right side of the resort entrance, where scaffolding remains behind a construction wall. The ceiling above the closed-off section is exposed, with plywood, construction residue, visible beams and openings that reveal parts of the inner structure and some wiring.

The remaining construction is visible from the path guests use to walk into Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The report did not provide a completion date for the refurbishment.
