Guests driving to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa can again use a direct entrance from the southern roundabout on Floridian Way.
The route reopened Monday, October 19, following work that added new curbing and pavement to the entrance-road section. A blue sign reading “Grand Floridian Turn Right” directs drivers to the newly paved road, though construction cones remain in the area.
Since September 10, the temporary traffic pattern had directed resort-bound vehicles through a longer, sign-guided loop past overflow and Cast Member parking areas while the work was underway.
The reopened road passes the resort’s brick entrance sign and reconnects the main entrance road with the southern roundabout. Floridian Way itself opened in August with two roundabouts.

Undercover Tourist is an authorized seller of Orlando theme park tickets, often at a discount off gate price.
The entrance reconfiguration is part of a broader project tied to new World Drive roundabouts. Plans also call for a third roundabout south near the Magic Kingdom parking lot, while the Wedding Pavilion is expected to receive a new entrance south of its current location.
