A guest reported being evacuated from Frozen Ever After at EPCOT on the morning of Oct. 21, after the Norway Pavilion boat ride stopped shortly before its larger drop.

The account appeared in an Oct. 22 Reddit post. The guest said the interruption happened around 9:45 a.m. and nearly affected their princess breakfast reservation at a nearby restaurant, though the reservation was moved.

Disney had not publicly explained the reported interruption as of Oct. 22. Its cause, how long the attraction was unavailable, how many riders were affected and when it resumed normal operation were not confirmed.

Frozen Ever After is an Early Theme Park Entry attraction and an advance-selection option for Lightning Lane Multi Pass, making it a common morning priority for EPCOT visitors. Disney says Lightning Lane offerings can change or close without notice. The guest report does not establish whether anyone involved had Lightning Lane reservations or received accommodations.

The attraction opened in EPCOT's Norway Pavilion in 2016, replacing Maelstrom. It takes riders through Arendelle with characters and music from Disney's Frozen. Earlier reports about updates to the ride's Audio-Animatronics do not establish any connection to this reported evacuation.
