Walt Disney World visitors could see cooler temperatures along with wet and windy conditions as a passing front moves through Central Florida, according to a Thursday warning from the National Weather Service in Melbourne.
The forecast cited by Inside the Magic called for highs to drop from 89 degrees Thursday, Oct. 15, to about 79 degrees Saturday and 78 degrees Sunday. Highs were expected to stay in the upper 70s into the following week, while early-morning temperatures could reach the low 60s by Wednesday, Oct. 21.
The National Weather Service warning also included rain and gusty winds across East Central Florida through early next week. Those conditions can affect outdoor attractions, entertainment and exposed queues, though there was no confirmed weather-related change to Disney World operating hours or morning entry procedures at the time of the report.
Guests visiting Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios or Disney’s Animal Kingdom may find early touring more comfortable than during hotter October mornings. At the same time, the forecast alone does not establish whether morning crowds or attraction waits will increase.
