Walt Disney World visitors could encounter several days of rain and thunderstorms as a stalled front is forecast to linger over Central Florida this week.

WFTV 9 reported that deep tropical moisture associated with the front is expected to bring increasing rain and storm chances beginning Monday, especially during the afternoon and potentially into the evening. Tuesday and Wednesday could bring periods of rain and storms, with heavy rainfall possible. The unsettled pattern is expected to continue late in the week, while slightly drier air may arrive next weekend.

Temperatures are forecast to reach the upper 80s Monday and remain in the mid-80s for much of the week. Overnight lows are expected in the mid-70s.

The forecast prompted discussion among Disney travelers about whether a wet-weather trip is worth keeping. Commenters cited indoor rides and shows as options during storms, while noting that lightning can affect outdoor attractions. Others said they would plan around the rain with a midday resort break and keep rain gear and dry socks available.

Visitors with upcoming reservations may want to review their own change, cancellation and travel-insurance terms before making any decisions. Those who continue with their plans should expect weather conditions to vary during the week and may need to adjust their park schedules around storms.
