Walt Disney World’s My Disney Experience app has refreshed its profile-character selection, adding new choices and organizing the icons into categories.
Guests can now browse groups including Disney Favorites, Disney Villains, Mickey & Friends, Disney Princesses, Paranormal Pals and Modern Favorites. Theme Park Scope reported the update on Oct. 5.
New Disney Favorites include Oswald, Launchpad, Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, Simba, Genie, Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, Hercules and Meg. The newly highlighted villain collection includes Scar, Ursula, Jafar and Maleficent.
The Paranormal Pals category includes the Hitchhiking Ghosts and Jack Skellington, while Modern Favorites features Orange Bird, Hei Hei and Pua. Pixar and Star Wars characters are also among the app’s profile options.

Undercover Tourist is an authorized seller of Walt Disney World tickets, often at a discount off gate price.
Profile characters appear alongside a guest’s name in My Disney Experience, the app used for functions such as dining reservations, Lightning Lane selections and resort online check-in.
Disney has also outlined a broader future redesign for My Disney Experience and the Walt Disney World website, including a Trip Checklist, group-planning tools, native Spanish-language support and an AI-powered search feature. Disney has not announced a launch date for those larger updates, saying they will arrive over the coming months.
