Walt Disney World has added three new pullover sweatshirts featuring Orange Bird, The Muppets and a holiday-themed resort design. Each sweatshirt is priced at $49.99 and is available at the Emporium in Magic Kingdom.
The sage-green Orange Bird sweatshirt uses a collegiate-style design with orange and yellow lettering, a leafy wreath and “19” and “71,” a reference to Walt Disney World’s 1971 opening. Orange Bird has been connected with the resort since its opening, when the character served as a mascot for the Florida Citrus Commission, sponsor of the Enchanted Tiki Room and Sunshine Tree Terrace at Magic Kingdom.
A navy Classic Muppets sweatshirt centers on an orange circular graphic with Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Animal, Rowlf and Beaker. The design includes a vintage-inspired “The Muppets” logo. The apparel arrives after the closure of Muppet*Vision 3D and Muppets Courtyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios; The Muppets have since taken over Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster, according to WDWNT.

The third option is a black Walt Disney World holiday sweatshirt. Its colorful lettering incorporates candy-cane stripes, holiday patterns and a Mickey-shaped graphic. The same festive design was offered on a T-shirt last year.
