Disney gift cards remain accepted at Disney-owned retail locations at Disney Springs, but visitors should not expect them to work at every store in the shopping district.
According to a report by Kenny the Pirate cited by Inside the Magic, Vera Bradley and Sephora at Disney Springs stopped accepting Disney gift cards in August. Vuori, a clothing retailer that opened at Disney Springs in October 2026, also does not accept them.
The reported restrictions also apply to Disney Rewards Redemption Cards and purchases charged to Walt Disney World Resort hotel rooms at those affected retailers. Guests planning to use any of those Disney-related payment options for shopping may need another form of payment at those locations.
Disney Springs combines Disney-operated shops with independently run national retailers, so payment policies can vary from one storefront to another. The report identifies Vera Bradley, Sephora and Vuori specifically and does not say that all third-party retailers at Disney Springs have adopted the same policy.
Planning Your Trip
Undercover Tourist is an authorized seller of Walt Disney World tickets, often at a discount off gate price.
Visitors who have loaded gift cards for souvenirs or shopping can still use them at Disney-owned stores, but may want to confirm payment options with an individual retailer before making a purchase.
