Disney has released concept art for the ongoing refurbishment of the Convention Center at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.
Walt Disney Imagineering is reimagining the Convention Center and El Centro spaces with updated furnishings and finishes inspired by the cultures and natural landscapes of Spain, Mexico and the American Southwest, according to Disney.
The project began August 10, 2026, and is scheduled to continue through late September 2027. The El Centro Corridor and nearby areas are also included in refurbishment work connected to the Convention Center project.
