Magic Kingdom's Big Top Souvenirs is officially coming back. Walt Disney World has confirmed that the beloved Storybook Circus confectionery and gift shop will reopen on August 21, 2026, after closing for refurbishment on February 20 of the same year — a closure that lasted just over six months.

The reopening comes with a fresh lineup of nine sweet treats, all carrying a circus flair. Highlights include a Mickey Churro Caramel Apple made with Werther's Original caramel, white chocolatey coating, and churro cinnamon sugar, and a Dumbo Caramel Apple dressed up with a red fondant collar and yellow chocolatey hat. For cupcake fans, there's both a Minnie Pink Lemonade Cupcake with a chocolatey bow and a Mickey Vanilla Celebration Cupcake hiding a sprinkle surprise inside. Rounding out the menu are a Dumbo Sandwich Cookie, a Mickey Circus Cookie, Circus Chips (corn chips tossed in brown sugar and cinnamon), Big Top Dippers with animal crackers and apple slices, and a Mickey Snowcone Marshmallow Pop.

The refurbishment focused on the large circus tents in the Storybook Circus area. Walt Disney World had previously applied protective coatings to those tents back in 2021 to help them withstand the Florida sun, and last October the park filed two construction permits corresponding to the Big Top Souvenirs and Pete's Silly Sideshow tent structures. Construction walls around the building had recently started coming down, and the renovated Big Top Souvenirs sign was already visible to guests before the official announcement.

The full Big Top Souvenirs space — merchandise side included — reopens alongside the treats counter on August 21. The shop sits directly across from Dumbo the Flying Elephant and next to Pete's Silly Sideshow, which itself returned from closure in late June. Together, the two venues offer a quieter, air-conditioned retreat from the busier stretches of Storybook Circus.
