SpaceX’s CRS-35 mission is scheduled to launch from Cape Canaveral at 6:33 a.m. EDT, carrying about 6,500 pounds of cargo to the International Space Station.

The early-morning launch could also create conditions for a “space jellyfish” effect visible from parts of Florida. The phenomenon can occur when sunlight illuminates a rocket’s exhaust plume at high altitude while viewers on the ground are still in darker pre-dawn conditions.

Visibility of any launch-related display depends on local viewing conditions and the mission’s timing.
