Disney Cruise Line has outlined more of what guests can expect aboard the Disney Believe, a new Wish-class ship scheduled to begin sailing from Fort Lauderdale on Dec. 18, 2027.
The Disney Believe will be the ninth ship in the fleet and Disney Cruise Line’s fourth Wish-class vessel. Its initial itineraries are planned as four- and five-night cruises to the Bahamas and Caribbean, putting the ship within reach of South Florida travelers.
Several details tie the vessel to Disney storytelling from bow to stern: the ship will have a Moana-inspired Grand Hall, Tinker Bell on its bow and Woody and Buzz Lightyear on its stern. Its theater entertainment is set to include a new Encanto stage production, along with Tangled: The Musical and Disney Seas the Adventure.
Its rotational restaurants will include 1923, Worlds of Marvel and Oaken’s Table, a new Frozen-inspired dinner experience. Other announced venues include the The Little Mermaid-inspired C-Notes, the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs-themed Wishing Well, Stargazers pub and trivia space, and Gazelle’s, a two-story Zootopia-themed entertainment venue.

The ship will also add a Haunted Mansion Parlor, a lounge already found on the Disney Treasure and planned for the Disney Destiny. DCL Fan’s discussion of the reveal noted that the return of several familiar spaces has prompted some fans to compare the new ship to the Disney Wish.
Booking is scheduled to open first for Pearl Castaway Club members on Oct. 12, 2026, followed by additional Castaway Club booking windows during the week. General booking opens Oct. 19, 2026. The five-night inaugural voyage departs Dec. 18, 2027, with booking restrictions noted by Disney Cruise Line.
