Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen, the Jungle Cruise-inspired table-service restaurant at Magic Kingdom, has an off-menu item guests can ask about: Brazilian cheesy bread. Mickey Visit reports that the bread is gluten-free.

The restaurant extends the nearby Jungle Cruise’s setting through expedition-style props, themed dining rooms and servers who may deliver the attraction’s familiar pun-heavy humor. It also offers an air-conditioned break from the park; Mickey Visit noted that the dining room can feel particularly cold.

On the listed menu, appetizers range from the $10 Lost and Found Soup to the $18 Tiradito de Tuna. The Falls Family Falafel is $12, while the plant-based Jungle Green Salad is $11.

Entrées include the $23 Curried Vegetable Crew Stew, $30 crispy-fried chicken dish, $32 “Hardy Har Char” Siu Pork and Mess Hall Duck Fried Rice, $35 Catch of the Day and Nile Nellie’s Noodle Bowl, and a $44 grilled steak. Desserts are priced from $9 to $9.50.

Reservations for Skipper Canteen open 60 days ahead. Guests staying at an official Walt Disney World hotel can reserve dining beginning 60 days before check-in for their full hotel stay. Travelers planning Walt Disney World tickets can factor a Skipper Canteen meal into a Magic Kingdom day.
