Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo is regaining ground as a standout quick-service restaurant at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, according to a recent review from Disney Tourist Blog.
The Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge restaurant sits between Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and Ronto Roasters in Black Spire Outpost. Its menu has added several dishes this year, and the review found the changes helped make it a stronger choice even as its prices remain higher and portions smaller than when the restaurant opened.
Among the reviewed entrées, the Shaak Pot Roast with Kublag Mash—birria pot roast with turmeric-garlic mash and roasted carrots—earned a recommendation for its tender, flavorful meat and dependable preparation. The reviewer described it as a return to form compared with a previous beef offering, while noting that the birria-style flavors are relatively mild.
Chicken options include Endorian Fried Chicken Tip Yip with macaroni and roasted vegetables, plus Pirjanad Hot Chicken Tip Yip with spicy chipotle sauce, rice and a corn-and-vegetable relish. Disney Tourist Blog characterized the hot chicken as carrying more heat than many Disney World dishes labeled spicy. The menu also includes an Endorian Chicken Tip-Yip Salad with guava barbecue chicken, vegetables, pineapple and rice noodles.
For a plant-based option, the Felucian Falafel and Hummus Garden Spread pairs chickpea falafel with roasted beet hummus, vegetable relish, garlic toum sauce and grilled pita. The reviewer called it a refreshing, filling choice, though it noted that the falafel is drier than an earlier version.

The review also compared Docking Bay 7 with ABC Commissary, where the Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese Sandwich was recently reduced in size or otherwise altered, according to Disney Tourist Blog. The site still considers that sandwich worth ordering, but said Docking Bay 7’s improved menu now makes it the stronger overall meal stop at Hollywood Studios.
