Outer Rim, the fourth-floor lounge at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, has added two small plates to its menu: elote dip and a charcuterie board.
The lounge overlooks Bay Lake and serves specialty cocktails and mocktails, along with beer, wine, hard cider, hard seltzer and hard tea. The new food additions offer guests shareable options alongside those drinks.
The $12 elote dip comes with kettle chips. WDWNT described the fire-roasted corn dip as creamy and mildly spicy, with diced red onion and jalapeño, though its reviewer found it was served fairly cold. The outlet gave the dish a 6 out of 7 rating.
The $17 charcuterie board includes assorted cured meats, cheeses and accompaniments. WDWNT called it a substantial portion for a theme-park-resort setting, with crackers, crostini and spreads, but noted that its broad menu description could allow the individual components to change. The board received a 5 out of 7 rating.
Outer Rim is located inside Disney’s Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World, near Magic Kingdom.
