Walt Disney World’s October 2026 menu updates brought higher prices for many drinks and food items across the resort, but selected margaritas at 15 resort bars reportedly became less expensive.
Standard 20-ounce bottled water is now listed at $4.25, while bottled soft drinks are $5.50. At quick-service locations, regular fountain beverages increased from $4.79 to $4.99, according to the reported menu changes.
At the same time, The Disney Scoop reported price reductions on selected house and featured margaritas, along with some wines and other cocktails, at certain Disney resort lounges and bars. The cuts do not apply to every margarita or every resort bar.
Locations affected include Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto and Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace is temporarily closed for refurbishment through late October, while the indoor Grog Grotto is a separate venue.
The contrast does not extend to every Disney cocktail. The Sunset Margarita at Disney’s Hollywood Studios increased from $18.50 to $19, while the Blood Orange Margarita sold at EPCOT and Disney Springs rose from $17.50 to $18. The Patrón Platinum Margarita and Watermelon Margarita also each increased from $18.50 to $19 at the listed locations.

Disney has not publicly explained why particular resort drinks received lower prices during the broader menu update. Guests considering a resort stop should check current menus and operating hours, since the reported reductions are item- and location-specific.
For visitors looking to avoid buying bottled water, quick-service locations that serve fountain drinks may provide complimentary cups of ice water, though availability can vary by location.
