Travelers flying home from Orlando International Airport on Allegiant or Sun Country should plan to check in at Terminal A, according to the airport’s current airline directory.
Allegiant’s curbside reference is Door 8 and Sun Country’s is Door 9. Both airlines’ check-in counters are on Level 3, while Terminal A baggage claim is on Level 2. The door numbers identify where to find the counters; they are not departure gate numbers.
After check-in or baggage drop, Allegiant passengers should follow signs for Gates 30–59, while Sun Country passengers should follow signs for Gates 20–29. Both airlines use the security checkpoint serving Gates 1–59.
Orlando International Airport advises travelers to reach the security checkpoint two hours before departure. That timing does not account for getting to the airport, unloading bags or completing a required counter visit, so passengers should check their carrier’s current baggage-drop and check-in deadlines separately.
Travelers leaving Walt Disney World or other Central Florida destinations may want to share their airline and Terminal A assignment with a driver or shuttle provider before departure. Flight-specific gate assignments should still be confirmed through the airline app and airport screens on travel day.
MCO Reserve is listed by the airport as a free, limited-availability option for passengers without TSA PreCheck or CLEAR+. A reservation uses standard screening and does not replace the need to use the correct checkpoint.
