SpaceX officials still hope to launch Starship from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center on Florida’s Space Coast before the end of the year, according to Florida Today.
The planned mission would mark the inaugural Florida launch of SpaceX’s two-stage Starship rocket. The booster is expected to return to SpaceX’s Starbase site in Texas, where the company’s launch tower would attempt to catch it after the Florida liftoff.
The plan links a launch from Kennedy Space Center with a booster recovery attempt at Starbase, while the rocket’s upper stage would continue its mission after separation.
