Northeast Florida fans of musical theater will have two weeks to catch Hamilton live this winter. The touring production of Lin-Manuel Miranda's Tony Award-winning show is set to run at the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts, 300 Water Street, from December 1 through December 13, 2026, with 16 performances spread across the two-week engagement.

General public tickets go on sale Thursday, August 27, at 10 a.m., with prices ranging from $59 to $249 (all fees included). Pricing will vary depending on seat selection and performance date. Matinee and evening shows are scheduled on both weekends, giving audiences plenty of options for timing. The full schedule includes evening performances Tuesday through Friday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday shows at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., and Sunday performances at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased online at FSCJArtistSeries.org, by phone at (904) 632-5000, or in person. Producers are urging buyers to use only that official channel to avoid overpriced or fraudulent tickets from third-party resellers. Groups of 10 or more can inquire about discounts by calling (904) 632-5050 or emailing [email protected], though individual accounts are capped at eight tickets per purchase.

The musical, based on Ron Chernow's biography of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, traces his journey from immigrant orphan to one of the most influential figures in early American history. The score blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B, and traditional Broadway styles. The show features a book, music, and lyrics by Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, and choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler, and is produced by Jeffrey Seller, Sander Jacobs, Jill Furman, and The Public Theater.

Parking is available at the VyStar Tower Parking Garage at 37 Hogan Street South; subscribers and advance ticket buyers can pre-pay at a reduced rate. This story originally appeared in the Florida Times-Union.
