Walt Disney World has added a dedicated ordering station for special dietary requests at Sunshine Seasons, the quick-service restaurant inside EPCOT’s The Land pavilion.
The station is marked with a “Special Dietary Requests Order Here” sign and a green fork logo. Guests can speak with a cast member there about allergy-related needs and other dietary requests while placing an order.
Disney has not added new allergy-friendly menu items at Sunshine Seasons. The change is focused on the ordering process for food the location already serves.
A large printed menu at the station lists Sunshine Seasons items and ingredients, organized by allergen categories including gluten and wheat, fish, peanut, milk and egg, according to Inside the Magic. Sunshine Seasons is on the lower level of The Land, near Soarin’ and Living with the Land, and is listed as open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Planning Your Trip
Undercover Tourist is an authorized seller of Walt Disney World tickets, often at a discount off gate price.
The new station comes as Disney updates its handling of some tree-nut-related dietary information. Effective Oct. 6, 2026, Disney-owned and operated restaurants may include menu items containing ingredients such as coconut and shea in allergy-friendly options following revised FDA guidance, the report said. Guests with coconut allergies may need to ask directly about those ingredients rather than relying solely on an allergy-friendly designation.
Disney continues to advise guests to tell cast members about allergies when ordering, including with allergy-friendly mobile orders. Travelers with multiple, severe or otherwise complex dietary needs can also contact Disney’s Special Diets team before their visit.
