Sunshine Seasons at EPCOT has added a dedicated ordering station for guests with food allergies and other special dietary needs.
The station, marked with a green fork logo and a “Special Dietary Requests Order Here” sign, is on the lower level of The Land pavilion, between Soarin’ Around the World and Living with the Land. It is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The counter does not introduce new menu items. Instead, it provides a separate place for guests to discuss dietary requirements with a cast member while ordering food already offered at Sunshine Seasons.
A printed menu at the station lists Sunshine Seasons offerings and ingredients organized by allergens including gluten and wheat, fish, peanut, milk and egg. The format may help guests identify dishes relevant to a particular allergy without reviewing each menu item individually.
Planning Your Trip
Undercover Tourist is an authorized seller of Walt Disney World tickets, often at a discount off gate price.
The new counter arrives as Disney changes its handling of some ingredients in relation to tree-nut allergies. Disney-owned and operated restaurants may include items containing ingredients such as coconut and shea in allergy-friendly options beginning October 6, 2026, following updated FDA guidance that no longer classifies those ingredients as major tree-nut allergens.
Guests with a coconut allergy should still specifically discuss that allergy when ordering, since an allergy-friendly label may not screen out coconut under the updated approach. Disney also advises guests to tell a cast member about allergies each time they order, including when using allergy-friendly mobile ordering. For trips involving multiple or severe allergies, guests can contact Disney’s Special Diets team before their visit.
