For eligible military families planning Walt Disney World in 2026, the usual 4-, 5-, and 6-Day Disney Military Salute Tickets are joined by a new option: the Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket. The pricing difference is small, but the best choice changes quickly depending on whether you are taking one classic Orlando vacation or expect to return later in the year.

Every option includes Park Hopper access, so you can visit more than one theme park in a day after entering the park tied to your reservation first. Park Hopper Plus costs $30 more per ticket and adds a number of water park, golf-course, or miniature-golf visits tied to ticket length. If a water-park day is genuinely in your plans, that can be a worthwhile upgrade; otherwise, standard Park Hopper is the cleaner value.

2026 ticket prices at a glance

  • 4-Day Military Salute: $409 plus tax with Park Hopper; $439 plus tax with Park Hopper Plus.
  • 5-Day Military Salute: $429 plus tax with Park Hopper; $459 plus tax with Park Hopper Plus.
  • 6-Day Military Salute: $449 plus tax with Park Hopper; $479 plus tax with Park Hopper Plus.
  • Disney Celebrates America Military Salute: $499 plus tax with Park Hopper; $529 plus tax with Park Hopper Plus.

Participating base ticket offices and Shades of Green can sell tickets without tax, while Walt Disney World ticket windows add tax. Individual base offices may also set a lower price, so it is smart to check locally before you commit. For broader vacation budgeting, compare your Disney World ticket options before locking in flights or a hotel.

Which ticket is the best value for your trip?

For a four-park-day trip: Buy the 4-Day ticket. It works out to about $102.25 per park day before tax, and there is no advantage in paying for unused days.

For five park days: The 5-Day ticket is the easy winner. It costs just $20 more than the 4-Day ticket, bringing the effective price to about $85.80 per day.

For six park days: Take the 6-Day ticket. Again, it is only $20 more than the shorter option, or roughly $74.83 per day. This is the sweet spot for a longer one-trip Disney vacation.

For seven or more park days in 2026—or two separate Disney trips: The Disney Celebrates America ticket becomes compelling. It costs only $50 more than the 6-Day ticket and allows repeat theme-park visits through December 18, 2026, rather than stopping after a fixed number of admissions. At seven uses, its effective cost falls to about $71.29 per visit before tax, below the 6-Day ticket’s per-day cost. It is especially attractive for Florida-based or frequent-returning families, but it is not an Annual Pass and does not include parking, dining discounts, merchandise discounts, or Annual Passholder perks.

Eligibility, purchase rules, and activation

Disney lists eligible buyers as active or retired members of the U.S. military, including National Guard members, Reservists, the Coast Guard, Space Force, and the commissioned corps of the Public Health Service and NOAA. A spouse may also qualify with a valid, active U.S. military ID.

Tickets may be purchased through participating military sales outlets, including Shades of Green, or at Walt Disney World ticket windows. An eligible service member or qualifying spouse must present military ID both to purchase and use the tickets. The tickets are not valid until that eligible person activates them at a Walt Disney World theme park ticket window, so leave time for that step before your first park entry.

There is a household-style purchase limit: an eligible service member and spouse may buy no more than six promotional tickets total across all of these ticket types. One of those six must be used by the eligible service member or spouse. If that person has a valid Walt Disney World Annual Pass at both purchase and use, the limit is five promotional tickets and they do not need one for themselves. Tickets may be used by family members and friends under the offer rules, but each ticket stays assigned to the same person for every use.

Reservations and dates that can catch families out

All 2026 Military Salute tickets require an advance theme-park reservation for every park day, even though most date-based Disney tickets no longer do. Check reservation availability before purchase and reserve promptly afterward. The Disney Celebrates America ticket has one extra planning wrinkle: holders may keep up to five park reservations at a time on a rolling basis. That makes it less convenient for a seven-day straight-through visit, since you cannot lock in all seven days at once; after using a reserved day, you can try to book another.

All four ticket types are valid from January 1 through December 18, 2026, with blockout dates of March 29 through April 11, 2026, and November 22 through November 28, 2026. Unused admissions expire after December 18. Check current reservation availability and offer details before you go, especially if your travel falls near school breaks.

Bottom line: Match the fixed-day ticket to the exact number of park days for one vacation; choose Disney Celebrates America only when you can realistically use it at least seven times or split Disney days across multiple 2026 visits.
