Disney has filed a permit to replace a water tank at the Jamaica pool building at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, according to a Notice of Commencement filed October 9.
The permit authorizes Westbrook Service Company, LLC to complete the work at the Walt Disney World resort. It is set to expire in one year.
Caribbean Beach Resort is divided into themed villages, each with its own character. The Jamaica pool is one of five leisure pools at the resort, separate from the Fuentes del Morro feature pool.
Disney has not announced a Jamaica pool closure in connection with the tank replacement. The resort underwent a similar water-tank replacement at its Trinidad leisure pool last year.
