NASA and SpaceX are targeting 6:33 a.m. EDT Tuesday, Oct. 13, for a Falcon 9 launch from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station carrying supplies, science investigations and equipment to the International Space Station.
The SpaceX Dragon spacecraft is scheduled to lift off from Space Launch Complex 40 with more than 6,300 pounds of cargo. NASA said the mission, its 35th commercial resupply services flight to the station with SpaceX, will include the final set of International Space Station Roll-Out Solar Arrays.
Dragon is expected to dock autonomously at about 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, at the space-facing port of the station's Harmony module.
NASA plans to provide live coverage of both the launch and docking through its NASA Live platforms. The agency also scheduled a Thursday, Oct. 8 media teleconference to preview the cargo mission and provide a post-splashdown update on SpaceX Crew-12, which NASA said was due to return from the station that morning.
