Walt Disney World turns 55 in October, and the first glimpse of commemorative merchandise has arrived — centered on a breezy light blue palette and a clever logo that doubles as a hidden Mickey. The anniversary mark features a pink "55" sitting above a blue globe, with the numerals and globe together forming the iconic Mickey silhouette. A dark blue banner beneath reads "Magical Years."
The debut collection includes a light blue T-shirt, a blue hoodie, and a printed ear headband. The T-shirt puts a vintage-costumed Mickey front and center, marching before Cinderella Castle with hat in hand and cane at his side. The hoodie takes a broader view, surrounding Mickey with icons from all four theme parks — Cinderella Castle, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom — along with a Florida pennant and gold-embroidered "Walt Disney World" lettering. A Walt Disney quote in white script runs along the bottom: "All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them."
The ear headband rounds out the trio with an allover print of those same park landmarks, plus a few fan favorites like Sorcerer Mickey's hat and Figment. A dark blue bow with white polka dots anchors the center, and the 55th logo appears there as well.
For now, the celebration appears likely to be a relatively quiet one — no special events or limited-time offerings have been announced alongside the merchandise reveal. planning a Walt Disney World visit around the October anniversary milestone could still make for a meaningful trip, even without a full-scale celebration on the calendar.
