Universal Orlando Resort has quietly made a change that Halloween enthusiasts will want to know about before planning their fall visits: the resort is no longer offering an Express Pass add-on option for holders of Frequent Fear and Rush of Fear seasonal passes.

Those passes are popular choices for guests who want to experience Halloween Horror Nights multiple times throughout the season without paying full price each visit. Previously, passholders could sweeten the deal by purchasing Express Pass access to skip the regular queues — but that option is now off the table.

The change means Frequent Fear and Rush of Fear passholders will need to either purchase a standalone Express Pass at full price or plan their visits strategically to manage wait times on their own.

Universal Orlando has not publicly detailed the reasoning behind the decision. Guests planning Halloween Horror Nights visits this fall should review the current pass benefits on Universal's official website before purchasing.
