Universal Orlando is stepping into the after-hours event arena with Universal Nights, a new ticketed evening experience hosted at Epic Universe. The event has two dates confirmed so far — October 3 and October 17 — giving guests a pair of fall opportunities to experience the new park in a smaller, late-night crowd setting.

Tickets are priced at $179.99 per person, placing Universal Nights in direct competition with Disney After Hours, which has long occupied the premium end of the after-hours event market at Walt Disney World.

The pricing overlap makes the two offerings natural rivals for Orlando visitors deciding how to spend an evening — and their entertainment budget. Both events promise a less-crowded theme park experience after regular guests have gone home.

With Epic Universe having opened to considerable excitement, Universal Nights gives the new park another way to attract guests beyond standard daytime admission. Fall dates also align neatly with the season when Orlando's theme park crowds tend to pick back up after summer.
