Exterior work is continuing at The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where scaffolding still surrounds much of the attraction’s facade.
A new ladder has been installed at the front of the building, extending to the Hollywood Tower Hotel sign. The ladder appears positioned for crews working on the sign’s exterior appearance.
On the building’s side, the upper balcony and sections around the main archway have been coated in light gray primer. WDWNT reported that other areas of the attraction previously received a gray base coat before weathered detailing was added.
Some sections are further along: a wall no longer covered by scaffolding or plastic sheeting has fresh pink paint and weathered-looking detail beneath its windows. Beige drop sheets and scrim remain in place around portions of the archways, columns and the entrance to Tower Hotel Gifts.

Undercover Tourist is an authorized seller of Walt Disney World tickets, often at a discount off gate price.
The attraction remains open during the work. Scaffolding includes gaps that still allow guests to see outside when the ride’s elevator doors open.
