Disney Vacation Club members visiting Magic Kingdom will want to note a change at McKim's Mile House — A Member Lounge in Frontierland. As of August 2026, the lounge is operating from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., a shift from its previous schedule of 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Hours remain subject to change.
The lounge is open to DVC members eligible for Membership Extras, and each member may bring up to four guests — consistent with the number of guests allowed on resort reservations. Members must present a valid Membership Card and a photo ID with a matching name at check-in, and the same requirement applies for re-entry.
McKim's Mile House is styled as a rustic log cabin, fitting naturally into Frontierland's western aesthetic. Inside, members can take a break with complimentary snacks, coffee, tea, and soft drinks from Coke Freestyle machines, all while enjoying comfortable seating and Wi-Fi. Member Service Advisors are also on hand during operating hours.
The lounge opened last year in the former Frontierland Shootin' Arcade space, situated next to Country Bear Musical Jamboree. It remains one of the more unique member perks at Walt Disney World, offering a quiet retreat right inside the park.
