Disney villains fans have a new piece of merch to hunt down: a Maleficent dragon mug is now on shelves at Walt Disney World Resort, spotted at Marketplace Co-Op in Disney Springs. It's priced at $24.99.
The green mug puts Maleficent's side profile front and center, with yellow flames rising behind her and her dragon form looming in the background. The design wraps around thoughtfully — the reverse side keeps it simple with more rising flames.
The handle is where the real detail work shows up. Shaped to mimic the dragon's tail, it's black with periodic ridges along its length, evoking dragon scales. It's a small touch that makes the mug feel more like a collectible than a typical souvenir cup.
This isn't the only Maleficent merchandise to arrive at the resort recently — last month, a villain-themed ear headband also made its way to Walt Disney World. Collectors keeping an eye on the dark-side merchandise scene will want to check Marketplace Co-Op sooner rather than later.
