Walt Disney World Senior Vice President of Operations Maribeth Bisienere has received one of the park's most meaningful behind-the-scenes honors: a window dedication on Main Street, U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom. The recognition caps a career spanning more than three decades with the company.
Bisienere began her Disney career as a General Manager of Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and worked her way through a series of leadership roles, including SVP of Disney Springs, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, Water Parks, and Food & Beverage, before taking on her current position overseeing Resorts, Transportation, Premium Services, Food & Beverage, and Merchandise in May 2020.
Her new window places her among the faculty of the Academy of Talent Education, where she is recognized as the "Innovative Hospitality" expert. She joins four executives previously honored with the same window in 2021 — Phil Holmes, Trevor Larsen, Jim MacPhee, and Djuan Rivers. The window itself sits on the Emporium facade above the Casting Agency door, next to a window dedicated to former Walt Disney World president Meg Gilbert Crofton.
Walt Disney World president Jeff Vahle, who announced his own retirement on the same day, shared the news on LinkedIn, noting that Bisienere "championed the development of Cast Members, creating opportunities for others to grow, lead and reach their potential" throughout her tenure.
