Disney Vacation Club members will have the chance to be the very first guests to sleep at Disney's Lakeshore Lodge — before the resort officially opens its doors to the public. The "First Wave" Experience runs for three nights, from June 24 through June 27, 2027, ahead of the resort's July 1, 2027 opening date.
The package is more than just an early check-in bragging right. Each guest ages 3 and older receives a 3-day Walt Disney World theme park ticket with the Park Hopper option, plus a $200 Disney Dining Promo Card per person. Dining highlights include one dinner at Moonglade — the lodge's new table-service restaurant — one breakfast at Pioneer Hall, and one dinner at the beloved Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. Commemorative keepsakes and behind-the-scenes insights into the making of Lakeshore Lodge round out the experience.
Booking for the "First Wave" package opens November 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., and is paid using DVC points. The points required cover the first and second guests sharing an accommodation, with additional points available for extra guests. Members looking to book a standard cash stay can start calling (800) 800-9800 beginning October 6, 2026.
Lakeshore Lodge is a new Deluxe Resort Hotel situated along Bay Lake, on the former site of the River Country water park, tucked between Fort Wilderness and Wilderness Lodge. The property will offer 967 rooms ranging from studios and suites to one- and two-bedroom Lake Houses right along the waterfront. Walt Disney World Annual Passholders can begin making reservations on October 7, 2026, by calling (407) 934-7639, and general guests can book through the same number or online.
